Comparison

Everglow vs Service Fusion: what you are actually buying.

Service Fusion is a flat-priced, feature-rich platform that has been around a long time. On price the two are closer than most comparisons on this site. The difference is in depth, in what the system tells you, and in how much you configure before it does.

Where the models differ

Two ways of running the same shop

Setup

Service Fusion rewards configuration. Everglow ships opinionated: trade behavior, routes and records already shaped for the work.

Depth of record

Everglow keeps the container, the application, the water test and the margin as records, not custom fields.

What it finds

The Review, the timeline and the tasks are what turn a system of record into something that tells you where to look.

AI and API

Everything exposed to the AI you already pay for and to a REST API, with permissions and logging.

Offline

Ordered replay of a tech's day when the signal drops.

Multi-location

Separate board and books per branch with one roll-up, on the Multi-location plan.

Price

What it costs as you hire

Service Fusion Starter is $208 a month billed annually, or $245 month to month. Both sides include unlimited users, so unlike every other comparison on this site, the gap is flat rather than growing.

Straight answers

Where each one is stronger

Service Fusion

GPS fleet tracking

Where the trucks are, in real time.

Everglow does not have this. If you need it, buy theirs.

Service Fusion

A large support department

Thousands of customers and a support team behind them.

Everglow support is founder-led: one person, who also builds the software. Which you prefer is a real question.

Everglow

Job margin, with loaded cost

What a job actually made — revenue minus labor at wage plus burden, minus materials, minus overhead. Not the bare hourly rate.

A shop pricing off the bare wage loses money on every hour it sells and cannot see it.

Everglow

Real estate as well as trades

Listings, showings, a deal pipeline and commission splits, in the same app as the service side.

Useful if you run both, which more people do than the software market admits.

Everglow

Your data, over HTTP

A documented API and an MCP server, so Claude or ChatGPT can answer questions about your own jobs and money.

Generate a key in settings. No partner program.

Where we are behind, plainly. No GPS tracking, no fleet management, no equipment history against a site, no marketing tools, and no phone service of its own (you can connect the phone system you already have). Service Fusion has built those out over many years.
Questions

The ones people actually ask

Is Everglow cheaper than Service Fusion?

Yes, at every crew size. Service Fusion publishes Starter at $208 a month billed annually, or $245 month to month. Everglow is $149 a month flat, or $49 for a single technician. Both include unlimited users, so the gap does not change as you hire.

Do both include unlimited users?

Yes. Service Fusion prices per company rather than per seat, and so does Everglow. That is unusual in this market — Jobber, Housecall Pro and Workiz all add a per-user fee above a plan cap. If you are comparing flat-rate options, these are the two.

What does Service Fusion do that Everglow does not?

GPS fleet tracking, equipment tracking against a customer site, and a longer track record. If GPS or fleet management matters to you, buy Service Fusion.

What does Everglow do that Service Fusion does not?

Job margin with loaded labor cost, so you can see what a job actually made after wage plus burden. A real estate mode with listings, showings and commission tracking. And a documented API with an MCP server, so your own AI assistant can read your jobs and money.

Service Fusion's prices were taken from their published Starter plan on 26 August 2026. Prices change. If this is out of date, tell us and we will fix the page.

The honest close

Similar price. Different amount of work to get value out.

If you have the patience to configure and the shop is stable, Service Fusion will serve you. If you would rather it came shaped for the work and pointed at the money, that is the trade-off Everglow makes.
